Job Title: Painter and Decorator

Location: Yeovil

£15 per hour (PAYE) plus holiday pay, plus van and fuel card

Temporary position until the end of October 2024

Build Recruitment are working with a housing association to recruit an experienced painter in the Yeovil area to join them on a temporary basis until the end of October 2024.

The role will be assisting the damp and mould and disrepair team providing redecorations, mould and ventilation surveys, applying mould treatments and make good decorations.

Ideally you will be NVQ qualified in painting or have demonstratable time served experience. You will be experienced working across a variety of decorating works.

This is a temporary position, the hourly rate will be £15 per hour plus holiday pay and you will be paid on a PAYE basis. You will be provided with a company van, fuel card, tools and uniform.

Experience working across the social housing sector would be an advantage but is not essential.

You will be required to undertake a DBS check and must have a valid driving licence.

Day to Day:

• Providing painting and decorating across Yeovil.
• Damp, mould and disrepair redecorations
• Working alone or as part of a small team
• Providing a friendly and professional service

Requirements:

• Full driving licence
• Level 2 NVQ or above in painting or time served experience
