Cyber Security Architect - London/Hybrid

Hybrid - 2 days on site

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum

Cyber Security Architect required for a leading client based in London. My client is currently seeking a Cyber Security Architect to come onboard and provide technical security advice and guidance across the organisation. The candidate will identify digital threats through risk assessments and some hands-on evaluations. They will participate in various change projects and be responsible for creating and disseminating customised security best practice guidelines to the broader business.

Key Responsibilities:

 Provide security advice, requirements, and guidance for new systems or updates to existing ones, ensuring security by design.

 Conduct security-focused risk and hands-on assessments of new systems/services and changes to existing ones to ensure they are within risk tolerance.

 Collaborate with the business to review designs, ensuring alignment with existing security principles, patterns, standards, and best practices.

 Define, document, and implement core security patterns, standards, and guidelines in collaboration with the business.

 Review current security processes within your area of focus to ensure optimisation and coverage, identifying areas for improvement.

 Serve as the initial security point of contact for your region, directing any questions to the appropriate teams.

 Work with the broader security architecture team to establish and maintain a standardised approach to security.

 Partner with IT teams to ensure the proper security controls and measures are in place before implementation.

Key Skills:

 Previous experience working as Security Architect/Information Security

 Experience of common frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO27k and MITRE

Experience in using SABSA is desirable.
