The Opportunity
This company is seeking an experienced ICA/Commissioning Engineer to join their dynamic and ambitious team, where you will be reporting directly to the Project Manager to drive the development of all installation and commissioning activities. You will support the Project Manager in all aspects of installation & Commissioning including collating survey information. The ICA/Commissioning Engineer must ensure that all works are completed to the clients required asset standards to time, cost and quality.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
  • Manage all aspects of installation & Commissioning activities as per the project methodology for a telemetry upgrade programme using system experience and knowledge.
  • Complete quality checks of work to ensure required standards are met.
  • Monitor and report progress against plan, highlighting any delays to the Project Manager in order to mitigate and manage change in the project delivery.
  • Provide technical support and knowledge to other team members.
  • Complete required Health & Safety actions on a site by site basis, recording and reporting on the client UK Systems (Active).
  • Supporting the Project Manager in all aspects of installation & Commissioning including collating survey information.
  • Ensuring that all works are completed to the clients required asset standards to time, cost and quality.
  • Managing all aspects of installation & Commissioning activities as per the project methodology for a telemetry upgrade programme using system experience and knowledge.
  • Responding to requests on progress and to all requests from Project Manager and client.
  • Liaising with Client and Project Manager regarding site works, H & S Issues, preparation works.
You Will Have the Following Qualifications & Experience
  • Instrumentation and telemetry.
  • Previous experience in Installation & Commissioning, Electrical.
  • Completed a similar role previously.
  • HNC or NVQ Lvl 3 in Electrical field.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Happy to work on own Initiative and as part of a team.
  • Computer Literate – all MS Office Software.
  • Attention to detail/Quality.
  • Highly personable.
  • Assertive and confident.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Integrity.
It's great if you also have the following
  • DF1 / Modbus protocol experience
  • Water Industry experience
  • Water Card (EUSR)
  • Thames Water Passport
  • Brodersen experience
  • Back Up Control Knowledge of SCADA/Tep 2/Tep 1 Confined Space
