Dorset – Senior Software Engineer – Testing
My client are leaders in data and are innovators in the test and measurement industry. The company are increasingly growing and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer.
Main Duties:
- Liaise with customers on projects and software, testing & user interface requirements
- Translate system specification into software module specification
- Design software specifications
- Assist and support junior team members
- Produce fit for purpose software within time & project constraints, integrating hardware/instrumentation/UUTs with software where required
- Work as part of a project team with engineers from other disciplines
- Conduct peer assessment of coding, identifying ‘bugs’ or any other problems/concerns
- Carry out acceptance testing (factory and on-site)
- Work to company’s Quality procedures
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience within a Senior Software Engineer type role
- Experience of software design in the test and measurement industry
- LabVIEW and TestStand experience
- Desirable: electronic hardware design experience
