Job Title: Contract Manager
Reports to: Senior Contracts Manager
Department: Building Services
Purpose:
To ensure our delivery performance aligns with contract obligations and Building Services business processes. These services must meet or exceed budget expectations and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Oversee all Building Services staff to ensure their performance meets agreed service delivery standards.
- Performance Metrics: Manage KPIs and SLAs, optimizing resource use to meet targets.
- Health & Safety: Manage the company’s health, safety, and environmental performance on-site.
- Scheduling: Develop and implement schedules for sanction and HV switching.
- Contract Mobilization: Ensure smooth contract mobilization, maintain good client relations, and ensure a complete handover to the operations team.
- Quality Control: Manage the company’s quality procedures on-site.
- Financial Management: Oversee the site P&L account to maintain agreed margins.
- Recruitment: Hire necessary staff, whether temporary or full-time, to ensure adequate site resourcing for service delivery.
- Staff Development: Oversee the development of all staff under your control, including conducting annual appraisals.
- Absenteeism & Discipline: Manage staff absenteeism and handle disciplinary issues within the site team.
- Client Relations: Manage the client relationship on a daily basis.
- Reporting: Produce all reports required by the client or Building Services management team.
- Client Representation: Represent Building Services at all client meetings.
- Operational Strategies: Review and develop new operational strategies to ensure continuous service delivery improvement.
- Business Opportunities: Manage additional business opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue.
- Other Duties: Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by senior management.
Requirements:
- Must be very client-facing, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have an electrical background.
- Must have experience managing the mobilization of sites.
