The Company
Our client is a leading Main Contractor specialising within the new build & refurbishment residential and education sectors. They deliver an exceptionally high-quality product and are actively recruiting for a Document Controller for the business.
This company have shown remarkable growth over the last 5 years, with current turnover at approx. £22m and projections of £50m in 2025. Due to continued success and growth, our client is now looking to add a Document Controller to the team to support the production and commercial teams. This is a key role in the team, and you will be reporting directly into one of the senior managers of the group.
An example of one of their upcoming projects is a £6m Design & Build scheme which consists of a large-scale office to residential conversion consisting of 42 flats, and two additional storeys, which has a duration of circa 75 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards
- Lead safety training programs and workshops for staff and contractors
- Investigate and report on any accidents or incidents, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to promote a culture of safety
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable
