Community, Engagement and Development Manager

As part of the school’s long term development strategy, we would like to appoint an exceptionally motivated and talented person who is passionate about building fruitful, reciprocal relationships with our stakeholders, alumni and potential sponsors or donors.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and driving an ambitious strategy for philanthropic fundraising and alumni engagement, which will help to realise the school’s vision and future development.
  • Developing our alumni relationships programme to create a supportive network, provide positive connections to the school and to establish ways for the network to support current students.
  • Leading our approach to promoting, within the context of our values and ethos, our unique identity as a school and raising the public profile of our programmes and provision. In conjunction, you will oversee the school’s approach to public communications and will coordinate our website and social media.

We are seeking a special person who has exceptional relationship building skills, is client focused and confident to work with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.

You will have the capability to work strategically, to secure income from various sources, particularly by generating our alumni network and from successful grant applications in the first instance. 

You will be, or will have the wherewithal to become, a confident, engaging and enthusiastic fundraiser, motivated by seeing the impact of what philanthropy can achieve for this school.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will work closely with the Head teacher and other senior leaders.

You are likely to have a background in philanthropic fundraising, development or marketing but we also welcome applications from outstanding people with transferable skills, expertise and attributes.
