Role: Credit Controller

Rate: £14.03ph

Location: Liverpool

I am currently recruiting for a well-established organisation based in Liverpool, who are looking to hire a temporary credit controller, looking to start as soon as possible. This role is paying the equivalent of £27,000pa, and is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to further expand their skills in credit control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage the credit control workload with the team
• Collection of outstanding customer payments, always adhering to payment terms
• Reduce aged debt, adapting a proactive approach
• Use a telephone-based collection techniques, using strong communication skills
• Minimise risk across the portfolio through regular review and arrears management
• Developing relationships with key stakeholders
• Ensuring the inhouse system is kept up to date with accurate information
• Managing payment plans, recommending bad debt write offs and making recommendations for appropriate actions
• Working collaboratively within your own department and others
• Any other duties relating to credit control as required

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience working within a credit control position
• Confident communicator, both verbal and written
• Experience of working within a target driven environment
• Experience of working within a transactional environment
• The ability to hit the ground running
• Adaptable, reliable and proactive, with a positive attitude
• Immediately available to start new roles

In return, you will receive a competitive hourly rate of £14.03ph, paid weekly. You will be able to start very quickly, so this role is ideal for someone who is out of work currently. This role could potentially go perm for the right candidate also.
