GSL Education are looking for a dedicated SEN HLTA for a prestigious School in Tiverton to start immediately. This friendly school currently has an Ofsted report rated ‘Good’.  You will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and supporting students in KS1/KS2. This can either be day-to-day work or Long-term depending on what you're looking for and the needs of the school.

Responsibilities of a SEN HLTA:

• Collaborate with the classroom teacher to support lesson delivery and student learning
• Provide individualised support to students, tutoring and behaviour management
• Assist with classroom management, resource management, and assessment
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns
• Follow health and safety protocols and participate in professional development opportunities
• Adapt to various tasks as needed to contribute to the school's educational objectives

Requirements SEN HLTA:

• In-depth knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for education
• Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans
• An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application
• Have excellent team spirit and good behaviour management skills
• Be passionate about teaching and have a strong command of the curriculum
• A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
