Job Description for the Accounts Assistant role:
- Processing purchase ledger, matching purchase invoices to Delivery notes
- Coding and the posting of purchase invoices
- Statement reconciliation
- Payment run preparation
- Posting of payments
- Investigating any queries
- Preparing month end accruals
- Sales ledger
- Debtor chasing and liaising with the manager who will deal with escalations
- Monitoring the cash flow
- Banking and petty cash
- Part or full AAT qualified or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Engineering background would be an advantage
- Ideally experience of working within a small business
- Multicurrency experience is an advantage
Salary: £26,500 per annum
