Are you an experienced Financial and Cost Accountant looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team and play a crucial role in coordinating Financial Planning, Analysis, and Controlling for Business Management. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, providing essential financial support and analysis to drive business success.

Role Overview: As a Financial and Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely management of stock controlling and accounting, ensuring appropriate internal controls are maintained and developed. You will coordinate, prepare, analyze, and report Monthly Management Accounts for assigned Business Areas, adhering to IFRS/GAAP standards. Your role will involve regular reviews with cost centre managers and delivering crucial financial insights to both UK management and Central Controllers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely management of stock controlling and accounting with maintained and developed internal controls.
  • Coordinate, prepare, analyze, and report Monthly Management Accounts for assigned Business Areas, adhering to IFRS/GAAP standards.
  • Conduct monthly cost centre reviews with relevant managers.
  • Analyze and report management accounting data to UK management and Central Controllers, highlighting business and financial risks and opportunities.
  • Provide high-level financial support and analysis to ensure financial considerations are integrated into all business decisions.
  • Assist in preparing price audit data and Hourly Rate data for UK MOD/ESA.
  • Support central controlling initiatives and new information requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze budget information.
  • Communicate and coordinate data across relevant Business Areas, interacting with individuals ranging from Cost Centre Managers to Business Managers within the UK and Central Controllers.

Essential Skills:

  • UK National due to potential restricted access to UK ERP systems.
  • Detailed experience in Management & Financial Accounting.
  • Strong ability to coordinate and communicate within a complex business model across all organisational levels.
  • Experience in supporting and analyzing business decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

Desirable Skills:

  • Qualified or part-qualified ACCA, ACMA, or ACA.
  • SAP experience.
