We are working with an established company that specialises in the plastics industry. They are recruiting for a Production Planner to join their team due to expansion and are offering £34,000 for a straight days role, throughout the year, two bonuses are possible to achieve ontop of the base salary

Job Summary:

As a Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning production schedules to meet customer demands while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. You will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity
- Coordinate with production teams to prioritize work orders and ensure on-time delivery
- Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for improved efficiency
- Collaborate with supply chain management to optimize inventory levels and minimize shortages
- Utilize systems and tools to track production progress and adjust schedules as needed
- Implement quality control measures to uphold product standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and resource utilization
