Occupational Therapist

Permanent | Full time role based in Coventry

Hours:  Monday – Friday 37.5 hours

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum.

Our well established client are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis. 

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage patients using evidence based and patient centric principals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. 
  • Responsible for observing, recording and reporting patients involved in 1:1s and groups.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient management of more junior staff.
  • Observe and monitor the well-being of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff and documented.
  • Required to ensure the effective, timely and accurate updating of clinical records and computerised information systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • HCPC registered
  • Occupational Therapy degree
  • Experience of working in inpatient mental health or in a similar role
