As the Office Manager, you will ensure smooth administrative operations, oversee daily office activities, and assist with implementing policies. Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills, along with keen attention to detail, are essential.

Job specification:

  • Efficiently manage daily administrative tasks.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain office resources, including equipment, supplies, and facilities.
  • Assist Directors with personal assistant tasks.
  • Liaise between staff and directors to promote communication and collaboration.
  • Chair and record quarterly staff meetings, providing anonymous feedback to Directors.
  • Prepare for office meetings, including setting up rooms and arranging refreshments.
  • Coordinate office events, including guest lists and catering.
  • Assist with social media posts and marketing materials.
  • Streamline office processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain efficient filing and record-keeping systems.
  • Assist in budget management and reconcile financial reports.
  • Handle bookkeeping duties, process invoices, and manage financial transactions.
  • Chase debtors and manage bad debt recovery.
  • Communicate with Building Management to resolve issues.
  • Assist Directors with employee induction processes.
  • Maintain employee records and manage staff benefits.
  • Help organise staff events with the Social Committee.

Person specification:

  • 4 + years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Self-starter
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Ability to manage own workload and multi-task
  • Experience using Sage will be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
