Salary/Rate:
£50,000 - £60,000/annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all site workers.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to building regulations and standards.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, site diaries, and health and safety documentation.
  • Manage site budgets and resources effectively to ensure project costs are controlled and within budget.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential development projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field (e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND, or degree).
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential.
  • First Aid at Work certification is desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
