Calibre Search are working closely with a thriving Consultancy with a global reach who are eager to bring in their second in command Building Surveyor to join them in Manchester.

You will be part of their very successful team in Manchester who have a great mixture of Architects, Cost Managers, Project Managers and of course Building Surveyors. Their main services have always been Project and Cost Management however over the years since they've been in Manchester, Building Surveying as increased exponentially to the point the Director of Building Surveying is now looking for someone to help him come in as their number 2.

This can be for anyone who would like to be at Senior or Associate Director level who is passionate about project delivery and really wants to make a name for themselves and have the best of both worlds in being integral part of this growing in-house team as well as have the backing of a large name with all the work and clients you can ask for to be sucessful. Due ot this, business development whilst always welcomed is not necessary with this particular role as they only want to bring in the best technical surveyors to offer the best service.

In terms of clientele, they are working with some very ambitious developers, occupiers and investors who have a varied amount of high profile projects for you to get involved in.

Ideally, you will be commercially driven, have plenty of project experience as a PM and Building Surveyor offering full contract admin and design specification and preferable MRICS although they will consider people not far off achieving this.

Duties;

• This will see you dealing with dilapidations claims, including preparing and issuing schedules or responding to claims.
• Produced schedules of conditions for clients taking on leases.
• Produce specifications for tender and project managed works through from inception to completion.
• Dealing with party wall matters
• Complete Pre-acquisition surveys and produce detailed reports highlighting building defects with remedies and budget costs.
