Pertemps Lincoln are currently working alongside a global coatings and materials company based in Hykeham, Lincoln who are looking to add a Cell Leader to their successful operations team.
The successful candidate will oversee a dedicated team within their site in Lincoln, ensuring operational efficiency and quality. While the standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, flexibility is required as their operations run 24/7. You will need to be adaptable to occasionally oversee operations during different shifts.
 
What will I be doing?

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of manufacturing operators.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are met consistently.
• Monitor and improve operational processes and workflows.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production.
• Implement and uphold health and safety protocols within the cell.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operation and collaboration.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

 
What skills and experience do I need?

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar sector.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
