Are you a talented individual with experience in developing Tableau?

Our client, a leading aerospace organisation, is seeking a Tableau Software Integration Engineer to join their Project team. This team consists of skilled Software Integration Engineers and Project Managers who are working together to embark on a Digital Journey within the Actuation business. As the organisation embraces Industry 4.0, your role will involve creating an integrated and connected factory, delivering value to both the customers and the business.

In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team responsible for developing and implementing applications across the international business. The role is very much for a skilled Tableau developer with the ability to work in an agile / scrum environment liaising with internal customers internationally. You must be able to demonstrate capability to take technical and functional specifications, understand the customer needs and deploy fit for purpose solutions in Tableau. Alongside this, you would be working with users and their current Power BI reporting to migrate to Tableau and where additional reports interface, creating SQL code to facilitate the integration to Tableau as well.

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 6 - 12 months with the potential to become permanent
  • Location: Wolverhampton - Hybrid
  • Pay Rate: £40.00 - £50.00 per hour - Umbrella
  • Hours: 37 per week

Duties Include:

  • You will take an active role in the implementation of various projects in support of the Digital Strategy as we transformation our business supporting new application integrations & the creation of new applications
  • Work collaboratively with Advanced Structures SBU to deliver projects jointly.
  • Increasing business process efficiency through automation of transactions.
  • Develop and maintain critical relationships with business and customers.
  • Ensure testing is carried out both within the team and with customers to ensure there are no turnbacks and implementation are right first time
  • Participate in initiatives that include, but are not limited to delivering application solutions, integrations, service improvement, managed services and outsourcing agreements.
  • Use Agile principles to act as a Scrum Master where applicable.

Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge of developing Tableau
  • SQL coding Knowledge/Experience
  • Proven ability to facilitate & coordinate project plans
  • Excellent stakeholder management ability with the ability to influence at all levels

Desirable Skills:

  • Identification, design, and deployment of Digital systems
  • Knowledge/Experience and uses of Microsoft SQL coding
  • Self-Motivated individual to drive action in support of business needs.
  • Knowledge/Experience of a programming principle and languages
  • Creativity, initiative, diplomacy, self-motivation and self confidence
  • Experience of Agile methodologies
  • Experience of testing
