Our client school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, working three days a week alongside another experienced teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic school community.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Plan and prepare detailed lesson plans, materials, and resources to enhance learning
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the holistic development of students
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students
• Encourage and foster a love of learning and curiosity in students

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Proven experience in teaching at the primary level, preferably Year 5
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement
• A passion for teaching and making a positive impact on student's lives
