This is an exciting opportunity to join our client’s team as a CNC Production Engineer working within their busy manufacturing department in Margate. They’re looking for someone with proven experience as a CNC Production Engineer with a full understanding of operating CNC machinery.

As a CNC Production Engineer, your duties will be:

• Program new and existing CNC machines to match engineering specifications.
• Create methods and instructions for manufacturing products in accordance with engineering standards and drawings.
• Produce manufacturing equipment and fixtures, following design drawings.
• Take a lead on team development for machine operation, process efficiency and cost reduction.
• Fault finding and testing to minimize maintenance downtime.
• Liaise with design engineers to support new product launches.

To be a successful CNC Production Engineer you will have/be:

• Degree qualified or HND equivalent in a mechanical or relevant engineering qualification.
• Proven experience as a CNC Production Engineer with complete understanding of operating CNC machinery.
• Significant experience within a Manufacturing Engineering environment.
• Project leadership skills to collaborate across teams.
• Computer programming skills with use of relevant packages.
• Use of MAZAK CNC machines is desirable.
