This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading film and Television production company in their central London offices.

We are seeking a payments assistant to support the client management team with client payments to develop business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing client statements through Tagmin and submitting to client teams for review
  • Matching bank receipts to client projects and seeking further information where needed
  • Recording payments received in Excel and calculating commission splits
  • Setting up domestic and international payments and transfers in the bank
  • Identifying commission splits related to third party agents
  • Supporting bi-weekly client income reviews and ensuring accuracy of the data
  • Deal with queries, liaising with agents/clients/accountants and providing information as requested
  • Generating project general ledgers for clients as requested
  • Posting of transactions to Sage
  • Assistance with bank reconciliations for client bank accounts
  • Raise invoices on behalf of clients, in line with Tagmin job sheets or at request of client team and in particular VAT invoices.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoice payment
  • Constantly seek improvements to existing systems and processes and implement approved
  • Additional tasks from time to time as requested by Client Payments Lead / Supervisor

The Candidate

  • Have a strong academic
  • Experience working in a management agency (notAble to demonstrate strong financial understanding and attention to detail
  • Experience of Tagmin and Sage is beneficial
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Communication skills
  • Organised, self-motivated, and focused on constantly improving (self and processes)
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organisation
  • A positive character with opinions you are not afraid to voice and a "can do" attitude
  • Passionate about our industry
