Commercial Manager required in Surrey

GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established SME Contractor who are in the market for a Commercial Manager to join their team. As a company they undertake full refurbishment and insurance claims work for the Luxury residential sector with project from £50k - £500k.  

The Commercial Manager role will consist of a hands-on approach to the commercial management of a small and growing construction business.

It would suit a talented commercial candidate who likes the idea of being responsible for running a significant part of a business knowing that each decision will have an impact. It’s presents a fantastic opportunity to come into a company that already has pipeline and relationships which need to be nurtured and developed. Demonstrable success and progress will be measured and recognised by way of equity and bonuses.

This position has a genuine route to Directorship inclusive of equity and profit share of business.

The Commercial Managers responsibilities will include:

• Estimating
• Surveying
• Procurement
• Site visits
• Client meetings
• Development of existing relationships
• On-site surveys
• Key decision making  

Commercial Manager requirements:

• Experience working on refurbishment and Insurance claim contracts is ideal
• Stable career background
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Organised and attentive
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to communicate at all levels
• A degree/HNC in a surveying and commercial management
