Sewell Wallis are working with a well known and well established company based in Leeds City Centre. This incredible company is searching for a Finance Assistant to join on a full time, permanent basis due to internal promotion.

This company has a tight knit finance team who have recently promoted someone and therefore, need another set of hands. Their office is based centrally in Leeds so is easily commutable by public transport.

What will you be doing?

  • Processing purchase ledger invoices.
  • Dealing with supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Doing the payment run.
  • Investigating any queries.
  • Liaising with other departments to resolve queries in a timely manner.
  • Credit control.
  • Minimising aged debt.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in an end to end purchase ledger role.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office packages (E.g. Word, Excel).
  • Brilliant written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience using accounting software.
