Location: East Midlands
Salary: £15-17/hour
Job Type: Full-time - Contract
About the Role: Our client in the East Midlands is seeking experienced and passionate tree surgeons to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the care and maintenance of trees, ensuring they remain healthy and safe. Key responsibilities include tree pruning, health assessments, and safe removal of hazardous trees.
Key Responsibilities:
·Pruning and trimming trees to maintain health and aesthetics.
·Diagnosing and treating tree diseases.
·Safely removing dead or hazardous trees.
·Performing stump grinding and aerial work.
·Planting new trees and providing aftercare.
·Implementing tree support systems, such as cabling and bracing.
Requirements:
·Relevant certification in arboriculture or related field.
·Minimum of 2 years' experience in tree surgery.
·Proficiency in using chainsaws, stump grinders, and other tree surgery equipment.
·Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
·Strong understanding of tree biology and health.
·Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
