Contract: Full-time

Start Date: September
Pay Rate: £30000 - £46525 per annum

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging biology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Support students' academic and personal development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Strong subject knowledge in biology.
- Previous experience teaching biology at secondary level is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
