History Teacher

Contract: Full-time

Location: Spalding

Start Date: September

Pay Rate: £30000 - £46525 per annum

GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic History Teacher to join a dynamic school in Spalding. This full-time role, starting in September, provides a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and deliver high-quality history education.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging history lessons across various year groups.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Support students' academic and personal development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Strong subject knowledge in history.
• Previous experience teaching history at secondary level is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
