Operational Health & Safety / Facilities Manager
Bridgend
Salary circa £50,000 + bonus + benefits
CPS Group are working with a leading Financial Services company based in Bridgend who have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety / Facilities Manager professional.
The role dual role which encompasses a wide range of OHS duties as well as Facilities Management responsibility for the site in Bridgend.
The requires someone onsite Mon- Fri.
Role Summary:
Health and Safety:
* Compliance oversight of the Health & Safety Management System within the operational streams of the organisation.
* Upkeep of Legal Register and of Risk Assessments
* H&S Audits
* ISO45001 Management Activities
Facilities Management
* Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the facility buildings and grounds
* Ensuring legal requirements and health and safety standards are met.
* Statutory Facility checks
* Equipment maintenance
* Site Maintenance
* Fire & Security Controls
Skills and experience:
* Background of working within similar Health & Safety roles as well as Facilities Management
* Strong working knowledge of OHS regulations including OHSAS45001 and The Health & Safety at Work Act
* Experience of applying and reviewing risk assessments
* Qualified to a minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate level.
* Experience in Facilities Management and managing third party suppliers & contractors.
