Classroom Support are excited to be working with a SEN Primary school in the Virginia Water area.
We are recruiting on their behalf for a Teaching Assistant to support their KS1 & KS2 pupils who have a diverse range of support needs.
The school in question has fantastic support mechanisms and facilities for their staff, a wonderful and rewarding environment of which is reflected in their Ofsted results.
There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is between £85 - £90 per day.
Your working hours are 08:30AM - 3:30PM - Monday to Friday - Term time only.
Requirements of the SEN Teaching Assistant role are:
- Support the child mainly on a 1:1 basis and occasionally on in small groups.
- Using your experience of effective behaviour management.
- Ensure all tasks delegated by the teacher are carried out in a positive manner.
- Must have had previous experience of working in a classroom setting.
- Be willing to participate in lunch-time cover.
- Any experience of running your own interventions is advantageous.
- Being comfortable with toileting and personal care
