James Grace is currently recruiting for an experienced electrician / service engineer to join an expanding business in Paisley, Glasgow. The successful candidate will be offered a permanent position.
The candidate will be responsible for undertaking servicing on typical equipment found in schools workshops; lathes, pillar drills wood working machinery etc
Candidate must have a full UK driving license and ideally 17th edition IEE Wiring regulations
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team in providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of various mechanical and electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues with logic controllers and other automated systems.
- Interpret and maintain technical schematics and diagrams.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries and concerns promptly.
Skills:
- Proficient in mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Ability to maintain technical schematics accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with clients.
