Smart Solutions are working in partnership with an award winning training provider, and we are pleased to be recruiting for a Learner Coach to join their business on a permanent basis who will be based in the Cardiff area. You will provide end to end structured support and guidance to all Learners, ensuring the attainment of positive sustained outcomes by providing a variety of interventions throughout their journey on JGW+

Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 4.30pm (Flexibility)

Core Duties of the Learner Coach:

• Responsible for the pastoral care and wellbeing support of all learners.
• Accountable for effective management of a caseload of learners.
• Responsible for the identification of learner personal support needs.
• Develop appropriate links and maintain good working relationships with external support organisations where appropriate and required.
• Responsible for conducting learner interviews and inductions including, meeting and greeting all learners, completing and checking all relevant documentation, delivering structured induction session and making sure all learners have a clear understanding of the provision and programme.

Key Skills of the Learner Coach:

• Experience of working with vulnerable learners and working with unemployed young people.
• Learning Coach L4 Qualification or willing to working towards.
• Safeguarding and Prevent experience
• Ability to engage with young learners to motivate and inspire them to overcome barriers and achieve goals.
