Support Worker-Adults

Balfor Healthcare are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join their team at a 15-bed residential service for adults with complex learning disabilities and mental health. The service is set up in 1–2-bedroom private cottages for each client, providing a comfortable and homely environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • MUST have a clean UK driving licence (International driving licences are accepted if they have a minimum of 6 months validity)
  • MUST have a Minimum 6 months paid UK experience in complex learning disabilities and autism
  • Experience working with adults with epilepsy
  • Experience/training in Breakaway techniques

Shift Pattern:

  • Days: 8am-8pm
  • Nights: 8pm-8am

  • You will be a positive role model to support them on their journey, work with them to support them with their goals and document how their lives are developing so we can provide the right support at the right time as a team.

You will occasionally need to demonstrate resilience as often the people we work with can exhibit challenging behaviours so require a calming influence.
