One of the UK's premier Facilities Management (FM) providers are now looking for a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to join their client's facility in Westminster London, the facility is a corporate headquarters’ for a luxury fashion house.
The site is a corporate, glass, steel and concrete facility, consisting of 10 floors and has a capacity of 1700 people. It is a new build, only finishing development 10 years ago. There are numerous electrical and mechanical systems critical to running the building, of which you will help to maintain
Here you will be working in a 3 person strong engineering team to complete planned and reactive maintenance jobs on a variety of HVAC systems, focusing on AC equipment from various manufacturers.

Actions will include:
- To support and comply with the delivery of the company Health and Safety policy and standards.
- The maintenance of all installations as directed by the ISS Integrated Solutions planned preventative maintenance systems (MCS), based on HVCA SFG20, and completion within agreed KPI’s/SLA’s
- The repair and rectification of faults, breakdowns and other malfunctions to the Mechanical installations at the sites, and completion within agreed KPI’s/SLA’s
- To be conversant with Mechanical disciplines, although formally qualified in an Mechanical discipline and flexible in their approach work, hours of work and travel arrangements.
- Instructed works will primarily be in relation to the individual technicians trade, however an objective of the team is offering multi-skilled operations. On that basis mechanical qualified technicians will be expected to carry out mechanical works and related FM disciplines.
- To work closely and liaise with supplier partners to deliver service to required timescales.
- To accurately and legibly complete work reports, maintaining site log books and write ad-hoc reports as required.
- Keep in mobile contact with the designated Helpdesk and line manager, as directed.
- To interface with various teams (energy management, projects, audits, Health and Safety) and other teams within BTMU to ensure contract compliance at all times.
