About the role:

You will report to the P&C (HR) Manager and working closely with key stakeholders. In this role you will provide an effective, solution-focussed People & Culture business partnering and advice service; working in partnership with key stakeholders and People & Culture colleagues to deliver People & Culture plans and solutions in line with priorities of the hospice as well as the St Elizabeth Care Agency.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on all People & Culture matters throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Support the implementation of people plans for the hospice and care agency.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional People & Culture projects.
  • Utilise people data and analytics to drive improvement and performance.
  • Promote colleague engagement, development, and retention.
  • Guide managers through recruitment and facilitate training sessions.
  • Actively promote equality, diversity, and inclusion.

This role is full-time permanent, working 37.5 hours (5 days) per week.

About you:

You are a dynamic and proactive professional with proven experience in delivering operational HR advice and projects. You will need excellent communication and coaching skills, and you thrive in environments where adaptability and resilience are key. Practical experience in advising managers and staff on various people issues, confidence in delivering training, and a self-motivated attitude to manage changing priorities are essential.
