Our client are are a well known well respected developer and the are currently in the market for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the busy commercial team in Birmingham

You will be highly involved in the delivery of high-end developments and develop experience and guidance to progress your career

Your day to day role will be:

Working collaboratively with all departments within the business

Commercial management of your development

Preparation of site budgets

Procurement of subcontract packages

Analysis of tenders against budgets

Negotiate packages ensuring best value and delivery outcomes

Lead pre start meetings

Placement and issue of subcontract orders

Negotiate and agree variation works

Attend site meetings to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency on site

Carry out site valuations

Perform the CVR process

Detailing all cost movements within the monthly site valuation

Present the CVR reporting any profit and loss changes

Agree final accounts of subcontract packages

Attend meetings that may be required in the performance of the role

Cash flow forecasting

Present lessons learned and development feedback on completion

You will bring to the role:

Previous experience working for a housebuilding business

Relevant qualifications

Experience and knowledge of MS Office

Preferably experience using Coins
