The School and Role

ABC Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic Geography Supply Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role offers the chance to work in a variety of secondary schools, delivering engaging Geography lessons and inspiring students from KS3 to KS5. This is a great opportunity to work with an established Secondary School with possibilities for permanent positions. You will have access to a range of resources and be able to network with a variety of experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons that engage and motivate students.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs of students.
• Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behaviour effectively.
• Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.

Requirements

The successful Geography Teacher will have;

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
