We are an international company and have been established for over 35 years. Based in Farnham, we are a group of companies that cover sectors including publishing, leisure, training, and marketing. Due to expansion and growth, we are seeking a Sales Account Manager to work within our training course division.
The role offers a generous salary of up to £37k plus bonus up to c£10k annually with free parking available, pensions scheme and 20 days holiday rising by 1 per year up to 25 days, plus bank holidays.
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who will play a key role in driving revenue growth by developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, cultivating relationships with clients, and expanding our customer base. You will have a strong background in sales and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
The focus of the role would be to generate enquiries and close sales opportunities. To provide account management to existing clients and create and develop additional business opportunities.

The position would cover the below tasks:
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets and objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial coating market, including targeting key industries and geographic regions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and guidance to meet their training needs.
• Update and maintain a prospect database.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, presentations, and other sales collateral to support sales efforts.
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, activity reports, and other relevant information to senior management.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our training programs and build brand awareness.
• Work closely with the operations and finance team to ensure seamless delivery of training programs and exceptional customer experiences.
• Continuously strive to improve sales processes, procedures, and performance metrics to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

The Sales Account Manager role covers new business, account management and marketing and would suit candidates with 3 years or more of existing sales and account management experience, ideally within a B2B sector, now seeking the next step in their career. You will have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, proficiency in CRM software and other sales management tools as well as some marketing experience with an understanding of the use of social media.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
