Production Supervisor ( Food/Packaging)

£35'000 DOE + holiday + Pension + Progression

Day shift 7.30-4 (5 days inc. weekends)

East Yorkshire - commutable from Hull, York, Market Weighton, Selby, Goole, Doncaster

Are you a Production Supervisor from a food or packaging background, looking for the next exciting step in your career with a leading company who offers extensive progression opportunities as they continue to expand?

This company are leaders within their industry & they have grown steadily since their founding, acquiring new sites in the process. They are now looking for a Production Supervisor to lead a successful team in East Yorkshire .

This is a hands on role where you will be leading a team of 20 Production Operatives over 3 lines and supporting the production manager in the day to day running of the production pack house.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading production teams within a food or packaging environment, have knowledge of BRC standards, previous experience conducting audits, and be looking for long term career progression.

The role:

• Assisting the Production Manager in the day to day management of a pack house within a food environment
• Ensuring production targets are met whilst ensuring health & safety standards are adhered too
• Championing quality & hygiene standards

The person:

• Production Supervisor with knowledge of BRC standards & audits & previous experience within a food/ packaging environment
• Looking for a varied and challenging, fast paced role
• A brilliant communicator who can inspire the team and lead from the front through change and growth plans
