As an Associate Director (Fire Engineering), you’ll play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of experts. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Project Management: You’ll project manage an exciting portfolio of clients and developments across various sectors. This involves overseeing the entire project life cycle, from design to construction and in-use phases.
  2. Technical Leadership: As a technical lead, you’ll contribute to cutting-edge designs by providing expertise in fire engineering. This includes ensuring the highest standards of safety and functionality in all projects.
  3. Resource Management: Effectively manage resources within a team environment, optimizing performance and productivity.
  4. Commercial Awareness: Stay informed about the local market and possess a broad range of technical competence. Be comfortable leading and managing people, work winning, project planning, and performance reporting.
  5. Subject Matter Expertise: Contribute to technical committees related to fire strategies and site assurance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Fire Engineering.
  • BEng or BSc in Engineering.
  • MSc in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Membership in professional bodies such as CEng (Institution of Fire Engineers), MRICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), or MCABE (Chartered Association of Building Engineers).
