Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisor

Hoop are currently on the lookout for Welsh teachers, for a number of Secondary School placements due to commence in September 2024.
Duties will include:
- Delivering Welsh lessons and supporting pupils as they undertake work in line with the National Curriculum priorities
- Providing suitably challenging learning opportunities for pupils to promote academic progress
- Assessment of learning taking place and planning for future progress
- Maintaining good classroom discipline in line with the school behaviour policy
- Promoting the school ethos and adhering to all school policies and procedures
- Working closely with all school colleagues and under direction of the school leadership team
- Be a fluent Welsh speaker
- Have experience teaching Welsh at all secondary levels from KS3-KS5
- Have excellent organisational and planning skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Be a passionate practitioner with the desire to improve the education outcomes for all pupils
- Be able to support and promote the ethos of the school in line with relevant school policies
- Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Hold a current, Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate (registered with the update service) or be willing to undertake a check
