The Team & Focus of the Role

We have an extremely exciting opportunity for an Administrator to come and join our Infrastructure Services division. The division assists in delivering projects to build a more sustainable and long-lasting Infrastructure for the UK on behalf of clients across of a range of different sectors including electricity, gas, water, fibre optics, oil, and renewables.

This role would suit an individual who really thrives on providing a great service to both internal and external stakeholders, who has a familiarity with working in a fast-paced environment and has great time management skills.

Based at our office in Bury St Edmunds, this is a full-time role, offered as a 6-month fixed term contract. We are open to discussing part-time options (minimum 30 hours per week) and we also operate a hybrid working policy.

Duties will include:

  • Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required
  • Dealing with enquiries
  • Drafting standard documents
  • Booking meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes
  • Updating and maintaining landowner records
  • Filing/archiving
  • Mailmerges for client letters
  • Generally supporting colleagues with their daily requirements

The successful candidate will have...

  • The ability to work well within a team but also from their own initiative
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a high task workload and problem solve
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of the MS packages
