Location: Primarily based in Cambridge, with occasional travel required to Huntingdon
Role Type: Full-Time, permanent
Salary: £27,425-£40,369 per annum dependent on experience
The Role:
The role involves delivering resit GCSE Maths courses to construction students, to help them build the foundational skills they need for their future whilst they study their main vocation.
What will you be doing?
- You will design, plan, and deliver GCSE Maths lessons, specifically to students who are primarily at the college to study construction
- You will assess and evaluate student performance, and help students to achieve thier maximum potential. You’ll need to manage performance of the students to help those who need it more, and alo deal with any classroom issues.
- You may need to travel to the Huntingdon campus from time to time
- As a minimum requirement you will need a Maths (or related) degree
- Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
- If you already have a teaching qualification that would be great, but the college can support you in gaining one if you don’t
- You’ll need to undergo and enhance DBS check before starting employment with the college as you’ll be working with under 18s
- Driving license would be ideal so you can travel between both campus’
- Salary range between per annum.
