Electrical Modelling Engineer
12 month contract - Remote - OUTSIDE IR35
Join a pioneering team in electric aviation! We're looking for an experienced Electrical Modelling Engineer to support the planning and operation of our electric power system.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide technical support and analysis for electric power systems.
- Conduct power system analysis including short-circuit, coordination, and arc flash.
- Develop tools and procedures for system monitoring and control.
- Perform system studies, analyze results, and report findings with recommendations.
- Write and execute test plans, ensuring smooth interface between electronic and mechanical components.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical modeling, programming, and high-power digital design.
- Strong understanding of distributed powertrain electrical properties.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink; Python experience is a plus.
- Extensive background in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in BEV powertrain application development.
