Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial efficiency and success of our projects. This role involves working from our head office in Market Harborough and traveling to London once or twice a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for sash window restoration and replacement projects.
• Conduct site visits to assess work progress, measure quantities, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Manage and oversee the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and quality control.
• Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Experience and Qualifications:

• HNC, HND, or Degree educated in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline).
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong contractual awareness, especially with the JCT suite.
• Some experience in preparing Extension of Time and loss & expense claims.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
