The Role
As a Hybrid Infrastructure Business Development Manager you will work within the Pre-Sales team to identify and address business and technical challenges for new and existing customers. You will understand customer goals and challenges in your area, providing solutions with strategic vendors to meet these requirements. This role involves developing and executing strategies to grow revenue, expand market share, and increase customer satisfaction with both existing and new accounts.
Responsibilities
- Understand solution selling and fully grasp the business and technical challenges customers face in Hybrid Infrastructure.
- Ensure sales and presales teams are equipped to deliver solutions that meet these challenges, supported by templated offerings and services.
- Proactively hunt for new business within the sales teams and educate Account Managers on key solutions, especially those delivered through in-house services.
- Develop and promote infrastructure-centric managed service offerings to complement existing product solutions.
- Actively manage ongoing and strategic relationships, focusing on growing relationships with vendors such as HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, and Juniper.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding product portfolio and competitive landscape.
- Work with Account Managers to grow key accounts and maintain long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders to help develop new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing to build and execute campaign and demand generation activities for strategic vendors.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2+ years in business development, sales, or marketing in the technology industry.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record in consultative selling and winning new business, with experience in increasing revenue through lead generation.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with networking and/or datacentre solutions is preferred.
