Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for Commercial Gas Engineers for our client based in the Midlands area.

Managing the installation of stock on customers sites ensuring adherence to the company quality standards, and the gas safe regulations.

Objectives of the role:

• To manage and action the installation of boilers, burners and heaters, both gas and oil
• To service boilers, burners and heaters in the warehouse and on sites
• To attend breakdown calls on all products
• To assist with the building of new plant
• To install other products as added to the range

Main Duties:

•  Installations
•  Breakdowns
•  Stock Hire ready re standards and accuracy
•  Training staff on boiler service and heating related topics
•  Compliance to SOPS
•  Ensuring stock is ready for contracts that are going out for hire
•  Use of company computer system to record service and breakdown works
•  Yard works to ensure stock is serviced
•  Any other duties reasonably requested

Experience Needed/ About You:

• Essential:
• Gas Safety Certification
• Ability to be a self starter and have a ‘can do attitude’
• Desirable:
• Oftec Qualified
• Computer literate an advantage

Pay/ Salary:

• £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Dependant on experience

Hours & Contract Type:

• Based - remote, working Hours 0800 - 1700
• 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
