Exciting New Opportunity- Learning and Development Business Partner

Hours- On site Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00

Salary: £40,000-£42,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Succession Planning: Develop and manage a robust succession planning framework to ensure the growth and retention of top talent.
  • Talent Management: Support new and existing employees in achieving their fullest potential through effective personal development plans and talent management processes.
  • Future Talent Development: Manage programs for MDS, sandwich placement students, and work experience. Collaborate with educational institutions to create an annual careers event calendar.
  • Performance Management: Continuously develop and manage group performance management processes, including job chats and annual reviews.
  • Training and Development: Ensure appropriate training and development plans are in place across sites. Coordinate training and maintain effective records.
  • Skills Gap Analysis: Work with managers to create a skills matrix and identify skills gaps and requirements.
  • Central HR Management: Oversee the central HR function, implementing HR policies, and providing general support to the business’s central functions including managing employee relations, recruitment, internal and external compliance and legal and ethical requirements.
  • Team Management: Manage and support the Central HR Coordinator and HR Assistant.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Provide support for various projects and team needs as required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in Learning & Development across all levels (Essential)
  • Proven experience in implementing a learning & development culture and strategy (Essential)
  • Generalist HR knowledge (Essential)
  • Experience supporting people in apprenticeship and graduate roles (Essential)
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5) (Essential)
  • First-class communication and organisational skills (Essential)
  • Line management experience of a small team (Preferred)
