About Us:

Pertemps Birmingham is an award winning branch specialising in the industrial sector. We pride ourselves on our ability to match skilled professionals with top-tier companies. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a dynamic Recruitment Consultant to join our team and focus on recruiting for key industrial roles: forklift drivers, warehouse operatives, laser cutters, and CNC operatives.

Reporting to the Head of Industrial your duties will include;
  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial sector. Cultivate strong relationships with potential clients to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Talent Acquisition: Source, screen, and place qualified candidates for forklift driver, warehouse operative, laser cutter, and CNC operative roles. Utilise various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and candidates. Ensure a high level of service to meet client expectations and candidate satisfaction.
  • Target Achievement: Work towards and achieve monthly and quarterly targets for placements and revenue. Drive personal and team success through dedication and a proactive approach to recruitment.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape. Provide insights and advice to clients and candidates.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in recruitment, sales or a target driven environment 
  • Strong business development skills with a track record of generating new business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and driving results.
