£22,000 - £27,000/annum + bonus

This position, working within a highly successful and global manufacturing business, is one where you will be able to be yourself – bringing your excellent customer service skills with you. One where you will be given the opportunity to further develop and continue to grow.

You will have the opportunity to work and communicate with a large number of people and departments across the business and be a focal point for incoming and outgoing communications with customers using a variety of channels and means such as phone and email.

Have any additional language skills above and beyond excellent spoken and written English? GREAT! You will be able to use them in this role!

Role responsibilities:

  • Data entry tasks ensuring that accuracy is maintained at all times
  • Speak and communicate with customers to keep them updated with their orders including lead times, delivery schedules and offers
  • Keep customers up to date about potential delays and manage queries and complaints, escalating where needed
  • Proactive following up of current orders and resolve any issues, ensuring all changes and developments are communicated to all relevant parties
  • Upsell and offer additional items and products where suitable and possible
  • Ensure all Health & Safety processes and policies are followed at all times
  • Working with and communicating with global partners and colleagues

Characteristics & requirements of the successful applicant:

  • Proactive – take on new tasks using your initiative
  • Personable – Willing and able to communicate effectively with all levels of colleagues and customers
  • Excellent spoken and written English - any additional language skills would be highly beneficial
  • Any prior experience or awareness of using SAP would be beneficial but not essential
  • Strong personality, ability to adapt quickly
