Product Manager

Location: Midlands (hybrid working)

Consult Energy is partnering with a leading renewable energy business who are looking for a Product Manager to join their growing team. You will support the expansion of the product portfolio and enhance the customer value proposition.

Product Manager - Role Overview:

As a Product Manager you will develop and deliver innovative products aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. You will manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to market introduction, and monitor performance.

Product Manager - Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Oversee rapid development and market introduction of products, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Requirements Definition: Develop detailed product specifications, including market positioning and operational requirements.
• Impact Assessment: Conduct impact assessments to inform product feasibility and implementation planning.
• Business Case Development: Create robust business cases for new product proposals, utilizing insights on our portfolio and industry trends.
• Customer Journey Planning: Plan and champion customer journeys, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Governance & Roadmap Management: Manage the product governance framework and maintain the product roadmap.
• Performance Monitoring: Define objectives and metrics to monitor product success and report to senior management.

Product Manager – Experience you’ll need:

• Previous experience in the energy sector is essential.
• Project management experience is highly valued.
• Strong product development and project management skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities.
• Ability to adapt during periods of change and work under pressure.
• Proven collaboration skills with stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen and high numeracy skills

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)
