Rural Estates Manager required in Mansfield

Position: Full-Time, Permanent (Part-Time and Flexible Working Considered)
Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working Hours: 40.75 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5:30 PM, every other Saturday 9 AM - 1 PM)

SF Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic business based in Mansfield who are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Rural Estates Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities will include
- Estate Management: Oversee agricultural tenancies, day-to-day estate management, shooting lets, forestry operations, and renewable energy projects.
- Tenancy Negotiations: Assist with the negotiation and administration of new tenancies, rent reviews, breaches, and reassignments.
- Relationship Building: Maintain effective working relationships with tenants, contractors, and colleagues.
- Grant Administration: Administer grants and schemes, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping, organizing capital works, and submitting claims.
- Research: Conduct research on rental valuations, land registry searches, planning history, environmental research, policy, and new grants.
- Acquisitions: Assist in identifying new farmland acquisitions and progress freehold purchases.
- Travel: Undertake occasional travel, including overnight stays, across the portfolio.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and time management.
- Ability to multitask efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Agricultural or estate management experience preferred.
- RICS qualification desirable but not essential
- Full clean driving licence and own car.
